Your order will be processed within 48 hours, Monday through Friday. Please allow 3-5 business days for receipt through U. S. Postal Service, or faster when using express service (signature required).Note: Cards cannot be shipped to a P.O. or APO Box.
If the total value of an on-line card order (excluding shipping and handling charges) is less than $150, the cards are sent to the recipient unless the purchaser specifically requests that the cards be sent to the purchaser. If the total value of an on-line card order (excluding shipping and handling charges) is $150 or more, the order is sent directly to the purchaser for security purposes.
The card can be delivered to anyone within the United States with the following exceptions.
American Express Simon Giftcards cannot be ordered from or shipped to Hawaii, Louisiana or Vermont.
Simon Visa Giftcards cannot be ordered from or shipped to Connecticut, Hawaii, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Rhode Island or Vermont.

If the Giftcard has not arrived at the recipient's address within 10 business days, you should call us to verify the order and confirm that the recipient address and other information that we have for your order is correct. When you call, please have your order number and the credit or debit card number that was used to order the Simon Giftcard.
When using your Giftcard to make a purchase that is greater than the amount on the card, tell the cashier you would like to pay the difference first and then use your card to pay the remaining balance. The value of your Giftcard can be combined with cash or check when you are making a purchase. At the option of each merchant, the value of your Giftcard may also be combined with a credit or debit card when you are making a purchase. If you don't tell the cashier or merchant and try to make a purchase for more than the amount on the Giftcard, the transaction will be declined because you don't have enough money on your Giftcard.Note: It's important to keep track of your Giftcard balance so you do not try to make purchases for more than the amount remaining on the Giftcard. Yes. Call us to cancel the lost or stolen Giftcard as soon as you can, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You will need to know your Giftcard number, so be sure to record it in a safe place. You may also be required to provide additional information.
For an American Express / Simon Giftcard - Call Customer Service toll-free at 1-800-331-5479. After you cancel the Giftcard, we will send you a replacement Giftcard with the remaining balance.
For a Simon Visa Giftcard – Call the applicable Customer Service toll free number from the list below. After you cancel the Giftcard, we will send you a replacement Giftcard with the remaining balance minus a $15 replacement fee.

If the Giftcard was purchased at a MALL:
If you can provide information about the purchase of the Giftcard (date and time of purchase, original card value, etc), the mall where the Giftcard was purchased may be able to assist you in locating the Giftcard Number. Please note: the mall cannot replace lost or stolen Giftcards, they can only assist you with locating the Giftcard Number. If the complete Giftcard Number is obtained, call the Customer Service Number to request a replacement.
You can use your Simon GIftcard until the card plastic expires or the funds on the card are reduced to zero. In some cases (described below), the card plastic can be replaced on or before the expiration date if there are funds remaining on the card.
American Express / Simon Giftcards – The card plastic expires on the ‘valid thru’ date printed on the front of the card, but available funds on the card do not expire. (The ‘valid thru” date is required to process transactions at merchants that request a plastic expiration date.) If funds remain on the Card after the ‘valid thru’ date, call Customer Service toll-free at 1-800-331-5479 to obtain a free replacement card.
Simon Visa Giftcards – Simon Visa Giftcards expire on the date printed on the front of the card. Card funds expire when the card plastic expires. Prior to the expiration date, fees may reduce the balance on the card, as described below.
Your Giftcard will no longer be accepted as a form of payment.
It's customary for restaurants and some other service-oriented merchants to factor in an additional 20% to cover any tip you may leave on the Giftcard. If your total bill, after adding in the additional 20%, exceeds the amount on the Giftcard, it will be declined. You should ensure that your Giftcard has an available balance that is 20% greater than your total bill.
Always pay inside and tell the operator how much you want taken from your card. When you pay at the pump $75 is automatically deducted from your card, until the actual transaction posts (typically within three business days). If you have less than $75 on your card, your transaction will be declined at the pump.
Keep your Giftcard in case you need to return merchandise for credit. Merchandise return and refund policies vary by merchant. If a credit is issued to the cardholder, the credit may not be added to the available funds for up to seven business days. Check your balance regularly at www.simongiftcard.com to determine when your card has been credited for the return.

There are three ways you can keep track of your balance: Visit www.simon.com/giftcard; call the toll-free number located on the back of the card to make automated balance inquiries; or stop by the Simon Guest Services at your nearest Simon mall. The Simon Giftcard is processed through the Visa network, and much like a credit or debit card, retailers do not have access to see the remaining balance on your card.

Internet, mail and telephone order merchants often require that personal information, including name, address, telephone number and email address, of the Giftcard owner be verified with the card-issuing bank. If you wish to make internet, mail or telephone order purchases, you will need to go to www.simongiftcard.com to register your Giftcard prior to making an internet, mail or telephone order purchase.This is important because internet, mail and telephone order purchases are subject to the merchant's security policy governing the acceptance of bank cards. What this means is that many merchants won't complete an internet, mail or telephone transaction if the data provided by the purchaser does not match with the information that the Bank has on file about the cardholder. Unless you register your Card in advance, there will be no way an internet, mail or telephone order merchant can confirm your identity. Without such confirmation, the merchant might decline your purchase even if there are sufficient funds on the card.
If you had sufficient funds on the Giftcard when the purchase was attempted, then the debit is a temporary debit. Your Giftcard will be reimbursed for the amount debited within 5-7 days. The debit occurs because even though our Giftcard system had approved the purchase, the merchant subsequently declined to complete the transaction under its security policies. (This probably occurred because you had not registered your Giftcard in advance. See previous question above.) Once a purchase transaction is approved by the Giftcard system, the funds are debited - and can only be replaced later, when the data indicating that no purchase was completed is received. Please note that Simon Mall Property Group,U.S. Bank®, MetaBank, Bank of America, Visa, and their affiliates, employees, and agents have no control over merchant's security policies and cannot reverse or overrule a decline based on the merchant's security policies.
American Express/Simon Giftcards are issued by American Express Prepaid Card Management Corporation.
Simon Visa Giftcards are issued by one of the following financial institutions. U.S. Bank National Association, MetaBank, or Bank of America. To determine the issuing bank, please refer to the back of the Giftcard or review the Terms and Conditions that accompany the Giftcard.
If you order before 2:30pm Eastern time you can have a non-personalized Simon Giftcard delivered via FedEx the day after you order (some restrictions apply). Orders received after 2:30pm Eastern will be shipped within 2 days (signature required).
