My boss decided that we were going to take a long lunch break and she was going to get me to eat my first fish taco. I did and I was begging her to go back for more the next day. That was 25 years ago and I still go to Rubio's on Tuesdays and usually a few other days throughout the week. Now it is tradition that when we have guests in town Rubio's is the first place we take them. Just a couple of weeks ago we initiated an associate of my husbands. He was from South Korea and calls them "taco fishies".
