My current obsession: Drop-waist dresses.
Not only are they flirty, fun and on-trend, but they are style and comfort all in one totally cute package. They are youthful and feminine, and can be layered with a blazer or leather jacket for all these cool fronts we have been getting down here in Houston.
Need more convincing? Drop-waist dresses were seen all over the runways for Spring/Summer 2013 from notable designers such as Prabal Gurung, Rebecca Minkoff, and Tadashi Shoji. I even popped into Chanel at The Galleria last week and spotted this killer drop-waist dress.
And I absolutely just love the mix of patterns and styles that designers and stores have done with this style. You can pick out a flirty cocktail version from Alice + Olivia, one that is perfect for any Sunday brunch from Club Monaco, or grab the perfect drop-waist beach cover-up from Zara . The Galleria has got you covered, and you will find a plethora of drop-waist dresses on the racks.

We are looking for Fashion-Forward experienced Selling Professionals. You must be entrepreneurial and have a desire to build meaningful relationships. Saks Fifth Avenue has first class merchandise that our vendors buy from all over the world and we have state of the art web-based clienteling systems that allow you to write a business plan and manage your interactions as if you were running your own business. You need to be self motivated and accountable. With all these traits you will have a successful career at Saks Fifth Avenue.
Our event will run from 10:15 am until 3 pm on June 5th and from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm on June 6th; however we must request you RSVP to schedule a time to come and meet us, to ensure we get an opportunity to meet with everyone.
