From the neighboring Texas Capitol building to Lake Travis, Austin is well versed in entertainment and leisure. Sports fans should check out The University of Texas’ dynamic stadiums for football, basketball and baseball all centrally located in the heart of Austin. Lovers of all things outdoors will want to visit Zilker Park and the Lady Bird Lake.

Lake Hike and Bike Trail. Not only is Austin home to world-class museums like the Blanton, with the nation's largest university-owned collection on exhibit, Austin is also home to plenty of artists themselves.  Visitors can explore the work of designers, painters, sculptors, writers, photographers, filmmakers, dancers and musicians, any day of the week, in a variety of venues like Arthouse at the Jones Center, Mexic-Arte Museum, Carver Museum and The Bob Bullock Museum. With more than 30 wineries within a short drive, the Austin area is the perfect place to uncork a bottle of wine and soak up some breathtaking views. Lake Travis is sure to please as it’s beautiful scenery stretches over 63 miles offering visitors boating, fishing, dining and recreation. Additionally, the US Grand Prix will take place at Circuit of the Americas, the nation's first Grand Prix-purposed track and event complex, located southeast of Austin.


The Domain is located just north of US-183, along North Loop 1 (Mopac) between Braker Lane and Burnet Road.

From Austin-Bergstrom International Airport: Turn left on TX-71 West, exit US-183 North, exit Loop 1/Mopac North, exit Braker Lane. Turn right on Braker Lane, then take your first left turn (at the light) on to Domain Drive.

From Downtown: Take Loop 1/Mopac North, exit Braker Lane. Turn right on Braker Lane, then take your first left turn (at the light) on to Domain Drive.

From Georgetown: Take I-35 south, exit TX-45 Toll West, travel 0.5 mile, then exit TX-1 Toll South. Merge on to Loop 1 (Mopac) South. Exit Duval Road/Burnet Road. Go straight through the light at Duval Road/Burnet Road, u-turn under Loop 1 (Mopac) and turn right into The Domain.

From San Marcos: Take I-35 north for approximately 35 miles, exit US-183 North. Exit Loop 1/Mopac North, exit Braker Lane. Turn right on Braker Lane, then take your first left turn (at the light) on to Domain Drive.



Located in the heart of Central Texas, Austin is conveniently accessed from nearly any destination in the state, including major cities Houston, Dallas and San Antonio, which are all less than four hours away. Travel from Houston requires only a quick 2.5-3 hour drive west in US 290 or I-10, while guests making the 3-3.5 hour trip from Dallas simply head south on I-35 and visitors from San Antonio drive just 1.5-2 hours north on I-35.

Austin also offers a variety of unique day trips to quaint Hill Country destinations like Fredricksburg, Kerrville, Marble Falls and Lake LBJ, among others.



The Domain itself offers a vast array of amenities, including live music in the park and on the plaza, custom play elements, a fire place and a 6,500 sf lawn area, as well as entertainment venues iPic Theaters and Punch Bowl Social. Guests can enjoy a late night “reverse” happy hour at many of the restaurants and salsa dancing at Gloria’s on Friday and Saturday night.

Interested in options outside of The Domain? Austin is perhaps most famous for its legendary music and nightlife scene, including nearly 200 venues that feature everything from rock and blues to country and jazz every night of the week. Downtown Austin is only a few miles away where guests can enjoy all the 6th Street action. Likely Texas' best known street, the seven blocks of 6th Street between Congress and IH 35 are certainly Austin's entertainment.

Valet Parking
The Domain offers valet parking in multiple locations, with one of the primary valet stands located in the west surface lot, along Loop 1 (Mopac), near Jasper’s Restaurant and BlackFinn Ameripub and the second located in front of Maggiano’s Little Italy, across from Dillard’s. Additional valet parking is available near Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar and near McCormick and Schmick’s Seafood.

Need a cab?  Simon Guest Services, located in the standalone building on the corner across from Macy’s, will call one for you.  Taxis are often available at The Westin Austin and Aloft Hotel.

Courtesy Shuttle
A courtesy shuttle is offered to customers traveling within The Domain. The shuttle operates Monday – Thursday, 11:30 am to 8:30 pm, Fridays & Saturdays 11:00 am to 10:30 pm and Sundays Noon to 7:00 pm. Shuttle service can be requested by calling 512.656.5485, speaking with a security officer, visiting Simon Guest Services or requesting assistance from a store representative.
