Terrace at The Florida Mall

The distinctives of the Florida Mall Education Center (FMEC) hinges on a unique partnership between OCPS and the Simon Youth Foundation (SYF). The SYF mission is to help “at-risk” students receive their high school diplomas and to award scholarships to teens in Simon mall communities all over the nation.  FMEC provides individualized academic instruction, workforce readiness skills, practical work experience, and a school-community-business connection. There is a total 45 students (ages 16-19) who attend. Their work schedules fluctuate from day-to-day and many have opportunities for Dual Enrollment at the near by Tech Centers. Night School is also offered during extended hours for students needing credit retrieval.  ***Please contact school for hours of operation.
