Opened in 1992 by Jim Boetel, a former Vietnam Veteran, Boardwalk catered to the boom of skateboarding and skateboarders' style. As time progressed, so did the clothing and merchandise. Currently, Boardwalk sells a variety of surf, skate and snow brands, including those that are not found in other stores. Located on the second floor of the Brea Mall next to Macy's Men's, Children and Home, Boardwalk aims to sell unique clothing and accessories, including TOMS shoes.
