The process to produce one of each pieces takes time and skills. Therefore, here in Nativa you will find one of a kind pieces, which are made with ecological friendly materials. Almost all the wood used to hand carve these unique and beautiful items is of local woods, including Suar wood, which is an average hardwood with a straight grain making it easy to carve and finish with a high gloss. Belalu, a quick growing light wood; and the stronger fruit timbers such as jack fruit wood. We pride ourselves on our customer service. The color of the wood varies greatly between the center and outer edges of the tree. Therefore very interesting multi-coloured sculptures are crafted with this wood.
