My three favorite trends for the spring are black and white, bold stripes and flats/ low heals.
Though this time of year is usually reserved for floral prints and lace, I am choosing to keep the classics alive by wearing black and white (think Audrey Hepburn, Princess Grace, Jackie O.) You can be a little more on the adventurous side by mixing patterns or you can keep it classic and chic with solids or a peplum waste. Whatever tickles your fancy, this is sure to keep you the center of attention.
My next favorite spring trend are bold stripes. Contrary to popular belief, this looks good on anyone, no matter your size or shape. It marries polish with prep; something that flatters even the hardest to please people. Bold stripes can be complimented with anything from loud sunglasses, chunky jewelry or for a real head turner, some neon accents.
My last but not least spring favorite are flats/ low heals. Let's face it ladies, if you are anything like me, the first thing you are dying to do after you get home from work or a long night out in your favorite heals (if you aren't barefoot at this point) is to throw those painfully beautiful heals off the second you get in the door... Before you walk your dog... And before you think of doing ANYTHING else. Well don't fret, my pretty little unicorns, the fashion gods have shown mercy on our kind and have chosen flats and low heals as the shoe of choice for the spring. So take advantage! Go get you those Tory Burch flats at Nordstrom's or those Antonio Melani flats at Dillard's. They are calling your name and your feet will be forever grateful!!

For Spring 2013 men's style it's all about the bright pants, blazer, and the rugged leather boot.
Spring is the time to let loose and get out of the typical solid colors of the fall and brighten it up. Bright pants are great editions to your spring wardrobe. It harkens back to the prep style of the northeast. My favorite colors are red and a light lavender. When you are wearing bright colored pants you will want to keep your shirt a basic color or pattern. You want the pants to stand out and not the whole outfit. For red colored pants I would suggest wearing a white button down, a red or blue gingham shirt, and a basic color v neck.
Blazers are a must have item for any guy in his spring collection. Blazers are one of the most versatile items you can have. You can wear it during the day for work and transition to night with a blazer and denim combo. You will want to buy a light weight blazer and not use the heavier fabric blazer from the fall. Fabrics I suggest are a light weight wool (8-9oz), cotton, and linen. I'm a classic guy and I prefer a light weight navy blazer. It's versatile. For work you can wear a navy blazer with a light blue shirt, pattern tie, and grey or khaki pants to give you a current but classic look. For night I suggest wearing the navy blazer, a v-neck or open collared button down, and dark denim jeans. It's a clean masculine classic look.
Finally, the brown leather boot. I love adding a rugged element into what I'm wearing and a leather boot does just that. For your day work look you can wear these with a gray pant and the navy blazer I mentioned above. For the night look ill reveal my simple secret look that work every time: a black v-neck, dark denim jeans, and a brown leather boot. It's simple but it works.

One of my favorite trends this spring is color. Luckily for me because I like to keep it bright all year long. With accessories it's as simple as adding a bright shot of color to your outfit. You can keep your accessories simple by adding a bold colored scarf or great pair of turquoise flats. Heels in a hot color can turn any outfit upside down and take you from everyday to chic.
Another great look for spring? Stripes. Anyone can make stripes work. You can take them from day to night, from the office to a swanky bar after work. Make sure your stripes are proportionate to your body type and that's all there is to it!

Skinnies, a sequined top and some stilettos take you on a super hot date night that'll leave your husband saying, "Whoa!"
