Thirty seconds after I told my Dad I wanted to buy him a shirt for Father's Day, he said, "I know exactly what I want. A blue button down Ralph Lauren dress shirt."

I love my Dad for many things, but I especially enjoy his confidence in knowing exactly what he wants when it comes to clothing. He puts thought into it, and because of that he always looks handsome.

I also understand that not everyone's Dad cares about the classic shirts in their closet (it seems my style setting abilities came from both sides!). Because of that, I've worked up a list of other things that can be found in West Town Mall that would please all kinds of Dads this Father's Day.

Starting with the tech lovers...

Brookstone has an awesome (and very popular) Bluetooth wireless speaker, that will allow your Dad to take hands-free phone calls (probably with you, and probably about your last oil change), and will soothe him with the sounds of music or sports coming from his phone. For the entertainment lovers...

Remember there's an f.y.e in the mall (down near the men's Belk). They have all kinds of music and movie options. My Dad, for example, might enjoy a Jeremiah Johnson DVD or soundtrack. Which after opening, would inevitably be forced upon the whole family and boredom would ensue...thankfully they have many OTHER options! ;)

For the food lovers...

                                                                                                                                                     If your dad has a heart beat, then he probably enjoys the smell of bacon. Good thing Yankee Candle figured this out. As part of their new "Man Candle" collection they've got a new "MMM, Bacon!" scent. That's the gift that keeps on giving right there. Although it may start giving too much to the waste line ("Anyone else constantly craving bacon?") so you can also check out their other manly scents such as, "Movie Night", "First Down", and "Riding Mower" among others.

If your Dad happens to also have a specific taste in clothing, take him to Belk! They have a great selection of dress shirts marked down to very reasonable prices (his Ralph Lauren shirt was only $40!). This way Dad gets what he wants with the assurance that you didn't blow your gas money.

Most importantly, spend some time with your Dad this Father's Day. A walk around the mall together would be a nice way to catch up on life, and lets him get exactly what he wants (like this classic button down-that's going to go with so many things, Dad. Good choice!)
