Simon Marketing Platforms: Simon Kidgits Club

The Simon Kidgits Club® is a children's membership program developed
to build customer loyalty, especially among the mothers of young children. With
a delightful cast of Simon Kidgits, the club offers programming focused on education,
health and wellness, safety, and entertainment via a quarterly newsletter, Web site,
and live events at nearly 100 participating Simon malls across the country.
Since its 2003 inception, the club has registered more that 650,000 parents and
children. A recent survey suggests that one-third of parents come to Simon malls
more frequently because of Kidgits events, and those parents are likely to spend
45 percent more per visit when there is a Kidgits activity.
The program has attracted retailers and sponsors who are able to customize events
through product sampling and interactive experiences on a mall-by-mall basis. National
sponsors such as Radio Disney, Hallmark, Nestlé, and Care Bears have returned
to Kidgits events year after year to deepen the relationship between their brands
and moms.
